Platte Valley Bank As part of its strategic growth, the bank expanded, relocating an existing branch to a prominent site in the rapidly developing east side commercial district. The facade was designed to create distinction within the commercial context, aligning with the bank's signature color palette while also nodding to the established western vernacular of its other branches. Timber accents lend authenticity and continuity to the institution's regional identity. Mechanical systems are fully concealed within a mezzanine level, with intake and exhaust are discreetly integrated behind a louvered wall that also serves as a unsuspecting accent material backdrop for the building's primary signage. Visually understated, the interior finishes embody a refined traditional character. Rich wood trim is contrasted crisply by a restrained palette of earth-toned materials, creating a calm and grounded atmosphere. The lobby is anchored by a vaulted ceiling and clerestory windows, which introduce abundant natural light and reinforce an open welcoming appeal. The bank commissioned a regional artist to create a permanent installation: a sculpted plaster relief depicting a flock of geese in flight. Positioned along the high clearstory walls of the lobby and above the teller line, the artwork resonates with the surrounding landscape and offers a moment of familiarity and reflection for customers.
